It's clear you're nothing special, you're just a skeleton key.
Today, I have rediscovered the joys of songs that don't mean much and just sound nice. A bit like people sometimes, too.
The past week (if you must):
1. Fluffy hair.
2. Soyabean milk.
3. Waffles.
4. 18 chefs, KFC. Prospectively: laksa and sushi.
5. Feeling inadequate, incompetent and slack; basically PP (phytoplankton) like.
6. Suddenly having energy to go run today in CGH's gym.
7. Having people exclaim HUH YOU'RE GOING RUNNING to the above point.
8. Why is it that it is not possible to be a contradiction?
9. Currently playing err, Restaurant City. HAHAHA.
10. And worrying about dresscode and cui-ness to Gareth Pugh.
11. Walking out into wrong places, and encountering stunned nurses.
12. Having to research about sunbears and bile.
13. Seeing really really cute old people (:
14. Learning bits of hokkien, like some lo kun thing.
15. Being tempted to replace thing with some other word that I hear frequently from Sonia & my tutor. No, it doesn't start with F and yes it starts with S.
16. Tomorrow is the weekend, I thought we never live to see it, but I exaggerate.
17. Nail polish is destructible, even the clear ones. Yes, you can call me superficial now, go on.
18. I wish to lose weight so I can walk faster. My legs are the same length as Keith's but I can't walk as fast, it must be the weight.
19. I really like the lyrics of this song! SKELETON KEY LA, THEN.
20. My weekends are really busy.

The Good, The Bad and The Tasty part I
The Good:
1. H&M + Uniqlo=best haul ever. I finally got my bomber jacket + studded belt + clinical shoes + black flats. All in black, not sure why.
2. Small tucked away timsum houses with the best congee ever for breakfast. Multiply by 3 = breakfast everyday.
3. Disneyland! My brother dragged me along to Space Mountain :/ && then when it rolled me around in the rollercoaster dark thing he laughed at me! But it was still quite fun.
The Bad:
4. The walking is horrendous. I think I grew an extra set of muscles. And everyone walks very fast, and talks very loud.
5. The turnover at restaurants is fast x 100 = eat very fast without talking.
6. Ladies market. The upside of this walk into Ladies Market was the best XLB ever eaten. (:
The Tasty:
7. Lin Heung Tea House on the second day for breakfast. The whole place was packed, tea was everywhere and old people were too, sipping their tea (which was obscenely thick btw) and reading newspapers. Best fish thing and paus. /drool.
8. Milk teaaaaa at Lan Fong Yuen. /slurp.
9. Steamed carrot cake at Wai Kee Congeeeeeee. Super yum!
10. Okay so mmm on the third day when we were in Central, and hungry from post H&M shopping we ate 5 lunches. You know, the mini kind or so we like to think.
It went like this:
Zi Char @ some roadside stall / Wanton Mee / Claypot Rice (AWESOME) / Pork chop buns + milk tea / Egg tarts.
Photos when I get my hands on them!
/the title should read THE TASTY because I've never felt so pleased with the food. HOHOHO.

What I Am Doing:
1. Studying.
2. Running at least twice a week. Oddly enough I can run for a longer distance in the gym then in the 'real world' if you get what I mean. Sadly enough, there is no gym nearby.
3. Snacking between meals. Potato chips! Chocolate! Yoghurt! Repeat!
4. Playing FB games. HEHEHE.
5. Watching TV shows + one brokeback mountain (which is possibly the saddest romantic movie ever.)
6. Dazed Digital Playlists are very good to study to, esp. the Feb one.
7. Looking at awesome stud DIYs online, and wanting to try, and knowing that I'll probably poke holes in my fingers.
8. Tracking my items from everywhere. And tracking my brother's Rhino plush toy thingy. It's very cute.
9. Reading Huffington Post.
10. Scrambling around in distress because Paul just sent an email to say that a review of the exam questions is underway. NEUROSCIENCE HOW.

Lets do some mental winnowing.
1. I could finally stream Bones today (: && in a double episode whammy too.
2. Talking to Caleb is always good stuff (:
3. Worship today in service was, much needed. Thank you Father.
4. I do not exist for you to a) poke fun at b) insult when necessary c) make cutting comments about my friends / image / whatever you deem fit. But its okay, sucking it up in progress.
5. I saw this AWESOME black knit pants at m)phosis (: beams to self. It is very nice, and can feed my meals at NUS for a week. sigh.
6. Sometimes I wonder why can't we progress past meaningless conversation and mindless chatter and ask the questions that really matter ? After church today, we went to eat && walk around. Had a HTHT (heart to heart talk) at MOS burger with Jansen && Siqi. Such are the good times.
7. I find myself becoming more averse to, small talk. Especially when I'm tired.
8. Sent CHARLENE THE BAO THE BESTFRIEND off yesterday! miss her x 10 x 100 already.
9. There has been this INFLUX of Aedes mosquitoes in my room. All bloodsuckers the lot of them. I think they are Aedes Aegypti. Mega sian && fail because I fail miserably in killing them. Hence feet = stung.
10. Tomorrow marks the start of a full day wasted doing visitations. On the brighter side, there are always my friends, Ba Kwa && Prawn Rolls. Not forgetting sidedish friends like, Kueh Bangket && Pineapple Tarts.
Now only if friends could be classified into Friends, Sidedish Friends, and Not Friends. I know you classify your friends, and that is starting to discourage me much more than you know.
Course of action ? Bring it to the Lord, bring everything to the Lord and lay it at His feet and let Him do the work.

In between Borrelia and Burgdorfei.
I keep:
1. wishing for 5 Jan to come, so that a) Microb can finally be over, b) we can play for a short while (like 2 days maybe) and c) for CRAB.
2. cursing the answers of the T/F questions when they don't make sense.
3. trawling the WWW for clothes.
4. peering at Christian, who is sleeping now I believe. I fed it 2 flies yesterday, and was pleased at its alertness when it pounced on them immediately. Sadly enough, the same cannot be said for my enthusiasm for bacteria.
5. craving for steamboat & crab & sashimi & bunny's taiwan instant noodles at her house in the forest.
6. thinking right, what's the difference between hard ticks, soft ticks, rat fleas and body lice.
7. playing Pet Society on facebook ! HORRORS IS ME.

And my heart found a home again.
Meet my christmas tree at home, without ornaments put on it yet. I really really love my christmas tree cos its super oldschool and nice. And it flakes silver tree like stalk leaves. ANYWAY the point is that yesterday we went christmas shopping! :)
We are trying to navigate our way from Outram Park MRT to Tan Boon Liat Towers. Twas a ardous journey, plus it started to drizzle along the way.on finding the TBL towers, which was supposedly near some duck rice place:
TGN: "Where is that Duck Rice place you were talking about?"
(May Anne points to a bare patch of grass where the temporary food centre was) "There."
TGN:"Oh. So the ducks ate the weed and it became duckweed ahurhur"
We opened the doors to SKS (which incidentally has a No Solicting sign on it. Then I pointed it out to TGN, who was holding the door for me & who didn't see it & thought I was purposely making him hold the door longer & who went ' HURRY UP LAH. Think I hold door for you free one ah?' Kids these days.)And then we saw this book, to which we cracked some joke that involved Abby and learning how to positively love the negative abby-s in your life. MMM.
So, we finally finished, with Siqi deciding on her first love Tozer book, Jansen spending 80 dollars of his 200 dollars budget, May Anne buying 2 books (and squealing when she met Lydia and her very cute brother. I just realised yesterday who James really is, omg.) and me with my books + cards.
It is good, it is good.
Spot the flash of red in the background, I'm not sure who it was, but someone thought it was KFC. Fact: it was actually Avis: car rental. :)Right around this time Siqi and I decided to march along the road towards Great World City. And then Jansen joined in. And it was good, it was good. And I shall not upload said video :)
Then we decided we needed to sit down, so we brought the little kids to Toastbox. And ate very nice toast but the highlight was when TGN pointed to the towering mass of butter and said: 'How come here got ice-cream?'HMMM.
And so we galloped down the slope to the bus stop after buying stuff at M&S, and headed to Jansen's house for BBQ.
We had the best chicken wings EVER. I am still drooling at the thought of the honey chicken wings. And hence I will have to run to shed the calories, especially in the light of the parties that are coming up! (insert random anxious thought about impending exams and lack of time to study. okay done.)
And then we invented the action of the year. Seriously, it is that funny. :)
And then we had the soundbite of the year, I think it emerged from TGN's lips.
And then we met Abby's and Charbao's version 1.3, who is just too cute. And her steth's blue!
I think I shall write my cards now, and send them out. Then err, try to study and go and run.
Man, I can't wait for the Ham and Turkey and Spaghetti later. :)

Live your life: Because other girls don't eat like we do.
3 Dec 08:

4. Remnants of snack part 1.
5. HEN HAO (HH).
4. Remnants of snack part 1.
5. HEN HAO (HH).5 Dec 08:
1. Jasmine & I were so hungry, so we went to KFC to eat a snack first. Where was Siqi? Running and picking up invoices :)
2. Beloved tofu cabbage soup with depleted anchovies.
3. Dessert #1: Mango pudding + pomelo + sago. The pomelo was quickly dug out of the ice and consumed by us. Yum!
4. Dessert part 2: Towering mass of mango, ice, condensed milk and mango ice cream.
5. Our towering mass of mango dessert crumbled under, some external force called Jasmine's Hand.
6.
7. I cannot get over a) how LONG Siqi's hand looks and b) how HAPPY Jasmine looks.
8.
9.
10.
11. We finished at around 9 plus, with much delirium no less.
